Introduction to Loans In and Loans Out

This session will offer a basic overview of two related Spectrum procedures – Loans in (borrowing objects) and Loans out (lending objects). It will cover: - How the procedures relate to Accreditation and policy. - The procedures’ definitions and scopes, explaining key concepts and terms. - The Spectrum minimum requirements, with brief examples of how to meet them. - Where to find the Spectrum suggested procedure and briefly how it can be used (note: this session will not cover the content of the suggested procedure). By the end of the session, attendees will: - Understand how Loans in and Loans out relate to Accreditation and policy. - Understand how to meet the Spectrum standard for Loans in and Loans out via the minimum requirements. - Know where to find more information and guidance.
