Welcome to Xplore! Science Discovery Centre. We are the home of science in North Wales.

You'll find us full to the brim with science, exploration, and fun. You can now add the Planetarium as an add-on to your General Admission ticket, or head to our events page to book a show on its own! Our current Planetarium show is Forward to the Moon, and is suitable for ages 7+.

Planetarium shows on offer this Summer: Expedition Reef, available from 18th July: Learn about the secrets of the ‘rainforests of the sea’ as you embark on an oceanic safari through the world’s most vibrant—and endangered—marine ecosystems. Forward to the moon: Kari Byron from Crash Test World and MythBusters launches us on a journey beyond the Earth towards a sustainable future in space. NASA’s 21st-century Artemis program, named after the Greek moon Goddess and twin of Apollo, is the next step in our mission to explore the universe.
