Paddle boarding- BSUPA Level 1 Ready to Ride

Location: Walton and Frinton Yacht Club, Mill Lane, Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex, CO14 8PF Requirements:

Attendees must be 18 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or legally appointed guardian, i.e. they need to also book onto the course. What you will need: You are taking part in a watersport and you are likely to get wet, so always remember a change of clothes and a towel.

Clothing for training – wetsuits are highly recommended as your will be expected to get in the water during the course. Alternatively, lightweight stuff that dries easily, with a couple of layers if it is cold, plus waterproofs.

Trainers or dinghy boots for the feet Hats- always a woolly hat! remember it will always feel colder on the water. AND a wide brimmed hat if sunny Sun bloc – helps prevent windburn and sunburn Water or other drink Medication- if required- clearly labelled with instructions and name. please make instructor aware Buoyancy aids will be provided by the club.

Please arrive at the clubhouse 15 mins before the start time, changed and ready for training. Students will be met by an instructor at the front of the clubhouse on the benches.
