Old McDonald and the Three Pigs Plus… — The Word

Two much-loved tales collide in one joyful, interactive show for younger children. The Three Pigs decide to strike out and build homes of their own, but a hungry wolf has other ideas — and it falls to the audience to help save the day. Expect a lively performance packed with props, pop-ups and plenty of chances to join in.

This is proper hands-on storytelling: little ones are invited to name the farm produce, sing along and take on the roles of the farmyard animals as the tale unfolds. Warm, silly and full of energy, it is pitched perfectly at four- to eight-year-olds and their grown-ups, and as a free drop-in session it makes for an easy, inclusive family outing.
