Lego Spike Essentials: Theme Park Building & Coding — The Word

Using LEGO Education SPIKE Essentials, younger children build motorised theme-park models — think spinning rides and moving attractions — and then use simple block-based coding to make them work. It is a playful, first taste of engineering and programming, combining familiar LEGO bricks with motors and an easy drag-and-drop app. This morning session at The Word in South Shields is pitched at ages 6–8, with all the kit provided and staff on hand to help.
