About
Run by practitioners from the Health Visiting service, our development clinics assess the development of children aged 9-12 months and 24-30 months old. This is to support parents in knowing their child’s development is on track. Health Visitors discuss a variety of health topics in development clinics with parents and carers as part of a holistic assessment to support children and their families. You can seek support and advice around diet, sleep, oral health, toileting, parenting, and immunisations, as well as social, emotional, and physical development. This service is by appointment only. To book an appointment, please contact your Best Start Family Hub. If you are concerned about your child’s development, please contact your local Health Visitor.
