Chinese Wine Tasting - 20th August 2026

Chinese wine is exciting for exactly the same reason people got excited about California in the 1970s or Argentina in the 1990s: it's a large, relatively young wine culture region that is still discovering its best terroirs and styles. Offering huge potential, China is rapidly improving quality, plowing in lots of investment, and still figuring out which regions and grape varieties best express its terroir. The most interesting bottles don't taste like copies of Bordeaux anymore—they increasingly taste like Ningxia, Xinjiang or Yunnan.

Is it time to get ready for the emergence of a new global wine power? Served with some Chinese nibbles and platters of Cheese & Charcuterie. Starting at 7.30pm running till 9.30, 38 Church Street, Reigate, RH2 0AJ Tickets to an event at The Vineking require prepayment to secure your booking.

All dietary requirements where possible will be catered for. Please confirm these asap after your booking. For some theme nights it may not be possible to cater for all dietary needs.

Smaller tables of 2-4 guests may be seated with other guests on the evening. If you have to cancel your table with 14+ days notice we will refund your payment in full. If cancellation is between 7-14 days before the event, you will be entitled to a 50% refund or we will offer to reschedule you to another date if possible.

In the event that we can resell the places booked, there will be a 100% refund. However, we offer no refund payment if there is less than 7 days notice of cancellation unless we can resell the places booked.
