We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help keep South Yorkshire Transport Museum rolling! Home to a fantastic collection of vintage cars, buses and transport history, our museum is run by volunteers and powered by community spirit. Whether you can spare a few hours a month or want to get stuck in regularly, there’s a role for you. 🛠 What Can You Get Involved In?

There’s a wide variety of enjoyable, hands-on roles available: Museum & Vehicle Care (Tuesdays & Saturdays) General housekeeping Cleaning and polishing vehicles Helping keep the museum looking its best Education & School Visits (Weekdays) Helping guide school children around the museum Supporting educational visits and sharing transport history in a fun, engaging way Open Days (2nd Sunday of every month) Assisting other volunteers during public open days Helping with vehicle movements before opening and after closing Chatting with visitors and being part of the buzz These roles are incredibly important in protecting the museum’s history for future generations. 💙 Why Volunteer With Us?
