Our markets are coordinated by the makers who make this place special: many of whom joined through our courses and have continued to explore clay on their own terms. Not everyone is turning their practice into a business.

Most are pursuing this as a side quest that’s affirming and slow: an antidote to the fast – often frictionless – pace of contemporary life. You’ll meet makers refining techniques, testing glazes, or working through a particular form or idea. What unites them is a shared enthusiasm for making, and the atmosphere of shared stewardship that Sunken Studio supports.
