Family camps at The Hive

2-day family camp in the heart of Epping Forest, with staff led activities, catering and use of our excellent camping facilities. After much anticipation, we are now launching our first Family Camp at The Hive ! Bring the family for a camping experience like no other, in the heart of Epping Forest amongst 7 acres of blissful woodland habitat.

Staff-led activities, excellent facilities, and catering included. Dates: 20 August to 21 August 2026 Time: 10am arrival on first day. 2:30pm depart on last day. Cost: £75 per person* Ages: Suitable for ages 4+ *Minimum capacity per pod - 1 adult & 1 child Free parking available on site - please purchase a free 'add-on' parking ticket at checkout.

Don't have a car? Not a probem. We can arrange a minibus pickup from Chingford Station (spots are limited).

Timetable: Day 1: Shelter building in the forest and forest exploration Lunch and move into pods Discovering pond habitats - Pond dipping activity Evening meal (catered) Evening campfire activity Day 2: Breakfast (catered) Bushcraft fire lighting and natural crafts Lunch (catered) and move out of pods Meet the animals activity, handling snakes, salamanders, giant snails and more!
