About the Class A 4 Week Creative Sketchbook Course, suitable for complete beginners, and the creatively hesitant. This welcoming and imaginative four-week course is designed for anyone who has ever felt intimidated by the blank page. Sketchbooks for the Terrified is about letting go of perfection, overcoming creative anxiety, and discovering the sketchbook as a personal space for exploration, experimentation, and visual play. Through a series of accessible and engaging exercises, participants will learn how to use sketchbooks as tools for observation, idea development, memory, and creative freedom. The emphasis is on process over product, building confidence, curiosity, and a sustainable creative habit. Suitable for complete beginners and beyond What’s Included All materials and equipment Qualified and experienced Tutor A fridge and microwave are available for your use. You will be greeted with a hot tea or coffee and biscuits on arrival, complementary warm drinks are provided throughout the day For coffee lovers there is a bean to cup coffee machine (cash) and snack vending machine (card) onsite also Most people attend these workshops alone and make friends with like-minded people on the day, please don’t worry about coming solo! What to Bring A packed lunch is optional if you would like to eat after the class ends An open mind and a playful attitude!

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY Cancellations over four weeks before the course/class start date are eligible for a full refund or transfer to another date or course. Cancellations up to and including 14 days before the event are non refundable . However you are free to send a substitute participant . Cancellations between four weeks and 14 days before the start date of the course are non refundable . However we may transfer you at our discretion , this relies heavily on the ability to fill your place and may incur an admin fee . You may send a substitute participant. Any transfer that is subsequently cancelled is not eligible for a refund , whatever the time frame. A second rescheduling is at our discretion.
