Our Comedy Club usually takes place indoors in The Courtyard, a temperature-controlled space with heating and air conditioning available. On suitable summer evenings, where the forecast allows, we may move the event outside to the Wine Garden, our walled outdoor courtyard space. More 2026 dates are confirmed: 13 November. Born and raised in Belfast to a Malaysian father and Irish mother, Peter is a comedian with hard hitting, punchy jokes and hilarious tales of growing up in Northern Ireland. With TV credits including Ted Lasso, Apprentice: You’re Fired and Comedy Central Live! One half of the hit podcast, Luke and Pete Talking Sheet. Recently Peter has been supporting Judi Love, Seann Walsh, Kerry Godliman, Russell Kane and Tom Allen on tour around the UK. Originally from the Welsh countryside, Carwyn Blayney is a So You Think You’re Funny finalist, has supported Elis James on tour and came second in the 2023 Max Turner Award. He also has comedy writing credits on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Scotland. Jacob Nussey draws in audiences with his deadpan style, sharp jokes and ill-fated anecdotes with clever punchlines. He has supported Jason Manford and Russell Kane on tour, and featured in The Times , The Telegraph and Dave’s Joke of the Fringe lists 2025. Other accolades include Bury Met Comedian of the Year winner, West Didsbury Comedy Festival New Act of the Year winner, Leicester Square Theatre Comedian of the Year finalist and Chortle One To Watch 2023.

Ross Smith is a multi-talented comedian, actor and MC, known for his quick wit, sharp humour and engaging storytelling. TV appearances include Apple TV series Slow Horses and Karl Pilkington’s sitcom Sick of It . Ingrid Dahle is a Norwegian comedian known for her infectious energy. She is a Brighton Comedy Award winner, and a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year. She has also supported Jen Brister and Desiree Birch on tour. Ben Van der Velde is a stand-up comedian, actor, improviser and presenter, who has performed across the globe. Some notable gigs include warm-up for Deal Or No Deal, hosting a voodoo re-marriage ceremony, and performing at the main stage at Nudefest!

Markus Birdman is an experienced and versatile comedian, much in demand across the UK and around the world.He is one of the first comedians to have a Netflix special, Live in Amsterdam, as well as a co-writer on Jayde Adam’s Amazon Prime special Serious Black Jumper. Markus was also a Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist. Mary Bourke is an outspoken, Irish comedian described by GQ magazine as one of the “best female comics in the country”. Born in Dublin during a cross-fire hurricane, she now lives in leafy Buckinghamshire with a large collection of Betty Page memorabilia. Self-styled 'housewife comedian' Mary Bourke may look sweet in her flowery tea-dress, but her humour pulls no punches. Eden Voss is an upcoming comedian who finds the humour in the absurd. He came runner-up in our Chichester Fringe New Act of the Year competition and recently won Ram Comedy Festival New Act of the Year.
