Wild Harrow – Orchard Care at RNOH Orchard

Come learn about orchard care and management at the fabulous Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital orchard. This orchard is mixture of veteran and young trees and there will be different practical tasks to get involved in, no experience necessary and suitable for all abilities, including: - Weeding and removing brambles from trees - Fruit thinning in preparation for our harvest day on 13th September - Planning where new fruit trees go - Gathering windfalls and creating habitat piles - Updating the map - Removing dead/broken branches - Connect with nature in a stunning traditional orchard.
