The post-lunch talk on Friday 21 August, for members of Milford Probus Club and visitors (always welcome) is about the significance of non-verbal cues and communication.

Most of us form an opinion about someone within a few seconds and we rarely change our minds.

So why do we feel at ease with some people, yet avoid others?

Giving the talk is Alan Jones, a retired BBC journalist and former state-registered nurse. He has entertained and informed Milford Probus before and it is a delight to welcome him back.

Alan will explain the subliminal signals of behaviour gestures, and facial expressions that we all use to communicate with each other, revealing how it is not what we say that matters most.
