See two exciting new shows before they play at Edinburgh Fringe We have offered artists the opportunity to test a small-scale show that they're developing for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - in front of a live audience. Now you have the opportunity to support their journey and experience exciting new theatre at HOME before the festival begins. 6 - 7pm: CAMPitalism: Three Gays Try to Fix The Economy by BOY Theatre Money makes the world go round. But as young people working in an industry that is increasingly being sapped of money and support, how are we expected to navigate it?

In a system that is stacked against us, maybe it’s up to us to tear it down. CAMPitalism is a TedX talk meets drag brunch meets the Lehman Trilogy. Three queers battle entrenched bureaucracy in an earnest attempt to understand and demystify finance.

We’re here, we’re queer and we’re financially-illiterate. 7:30 - 8:30pm: This Is How I Got Arrested... after smuggling drugs across the border but never actually getting caught with any drugs by Azaelia Slade and SLADE PRODUCTIONS This Is How I Got Arrested... is a tightly structured, fourth wall breaking, hilarious, new, one-woman dark comedy show that shines an undeniable light on the insides of a working-class life. Meet Sophie, a young, working-class girl, who takes the phrase 'girls just wanna have fun' literally too far! What begins as a fast-paced account of her upbringing, quickly spirals into a drug fuelled escapade.

All told under the pressure of a ticking timer, lies will unravel, truth will be revealed and mischief will mount into madness. Whose side will you be on? ‘A smart, instantly engaging, sharply delivered and thoroughly entertaining performance that keeps the audience hooked from start to finish.
