About

Our Golden Rover classic bus event will feature various green vehicle types in action, offering additional vintage bus rides around the local area. Our steam and diesel heritage trains will be running too, as well as the usual 339 bus service to Epping Underground station. These will connect with the first and last train services, as well as running every 30 minutes throughout the day with the first departure at 10.05, so you will not miss a minute of the action!

There is no car parking at our stations: There is only limited car parking for disabled passengers at our stations, which must be booked in advance. Public car parks are available in Ongar (charges may apply), a short walk from the station (use postcode CM5 9AB); Alternatively passengers may park at Epping Station (charges apply) and join our vintage bus service (use postcode CM16 4HW). It's easy to get to us via the London Underground and Elizabeth Line and Greater Anglia services.

Our inclusive vintage London buses will run from right outside the front of Epping Underground station (Central Line, zone 6) connecting with our train services and event buses at North Weald station. The timetables for heritage trains and connecting vintage London buses on route 339 can be found here. It is expected that there will be an additional bus departure from Epping station at 09.35, together with feeder buses from other local areas.

Timetables for the additional routes being operated on the day will be available in the event programme that you can collect on the day (while stocks last!), and which is free for all ticket holders. Further details to be announced! Child fares are just £1 when booked in advance, online!

Select the 'All Day Rover' option for these tickets. Under 3s are free - no ticket needed. Access to North Weald station will only be available to ticket holders - these can be purchased in advance, or from the bus conductor on the day.
