Home ed group

Our core group is for home educated children from 8 years old. We meet every Friday in term time to enjoy the woods, each others company and develop our hands, hearts, bodies and minds. We do this through a mix of structured and unstructured activities dictated by the will of the children, the skill of the facilitators and the needs of the woods.

Over Midsommers Edge 5th June - Elder Wisdom 12th June - Sense Weaving 19th June - Meet a tree... 26th June - Whittling time! 3rd July - TBC 10th July - TBC 17th July - Teddy Bears Picnic / End of Block Celebration Plus plenty of opportunities to spiral off and... - Explore - Stream dip - Build shelters - Play games - Watch the seasons change - Hang out at our Woodland Playground - Light and cook on the fire - Track and observe birds and mammals - Forage wild food - And anything else you can think of! - 1st September - 23rd October Exchange: £38/per child a day (includes a £1.50 donation to the wood) allows us to run the group and support the woodland. If cost is a barrier to accessing sessions please get in touch to arrange a suitable price. If you are able to pay more, then this will go to supporting families to access sessions and purchase of additional resources and tools.
