Habitat Seekers

Habitat Seekers is a hands-on outdoor discovery session where children explore the rich and varied habitats of Painshill, from woodland floor to watery edges. Through bug hunting, pond dipping, and nature investigation, young explorers uncover the incredible diversity of life living all around them. Sessions are led by experienced outdoor educators who support safe, respectful handling of wildlife and encourage curiosity at every step.

Habitat Seekers helps children build a deeper understanding of ecosystems, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting natural spaces—all while enjoying active, playful learning outdoors. Location: In the Landscape Meet at the Riverside Gardens. Please Note: This event takes place outdoors.

Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear. Seeker Sessions are designed to be engaging and accessible for all age groups. Please note that younger participants may require additional assistance from a parent, guardian, or accompanying adult.

Dogs are not permitted on these sessions. All children must be supervised by an adult
