Whitwick u3a General Meeting

The August General Meeting of the Whitwick and District u3a will be on Friday 21st August 2026 – commencing 2.00pm at Whitwick Methodist Church, 10 Hall Lane, Coalville, LE67 5FD (Whitwick end of Hall Lane) The talk this month is “The Water Babies” by Michael Burton This beautiful fairy story has charmed generations of children and adults. The talk explains its effect on the Darwinian evolution debate, advancement of women’s rights and the environment. The u3a is aimed at people who are retired or semi-retired.

It is about having fun and socialising by meeting new people with a common interest. We have over 40 different groups including crafts, eating out, sports, walks, fun choir, history, gardening, quiz, line dancing, days out and theatre trips.
