Roots Chelmsford Windrush Exhibition

This exhibition will shine a light on the lives of the Caribbean Windrush community, and those who left an indelible mark on Chelmsford. On display there will be stories from the Caribbean community who share their family history, experiences, and the enormous impact Windrush had on the Chelmsford community.

Whilst Windrush day is a day of celebration of the contributions made, it’s also an opportunity to reflect on the difficulties faced by the Windrush generation, past and present.
