Summer Crafts: All About Africa (week 1)

Our collection is bursting full of weird and wonderful objects from all around the world! In September we will be opening our brand new exhibition showcasing some historical African artefacts, and before they go on display we will be showing some of them to YOU for crafting inspiration at this craft day! The objects include a zulu shield, horsemen sculptures, a Ugandan drum, zulu beads.

What can you create? We will have the same theme next week, but different crafts to do! — Suitable for ages 5 – 12 Date: 21 August, 2026 Sessions are 10am – 12pm and 1:30pm – 3:30pm £6 per child (Plus small Eventbrite booking fee) Enjoy a children’s lunch at Frilly’s for just £6 for every ticket booked. If you need a break our quiet/ sensory room will be open in another part of the House for anyone needing a calm space. We are a wheelchair accessible venue.
