Get up close with the ancient world at Hands On with the Romans. This family-friendly activity gives you the chance to handle replica Roman artefacts and discover how people lived nearly two thousand years ago. Learn about Roman daily life and uncover the stories behind fascinating objects.
This is a Summer at the Museums event.
Accessibility
The Cast Gallery is on the first floor. We provide step-free access via our lift. To use the lift please ask at the reception on the ground floor of the Faculty of Classics. An accessible toilet is available on the ground floor. Seating will be available. Find out more about Museum Access. Summer Temperatures Our glass-roofed gallery can get very warm in the summer months. We recommend bringing water if the weather is forecast to be warm and sunny.
