CFF: Wild Horse Nine

It is 1973 and Chile is experiencing a political revolution.

Salvador Allende is the president, the first democratically elected socialist in Latin America, which has galvanised the South American nation.

There, dark personal secrets and political conspiracies begin to intertwine as the two eccentric agents have to deal with triple-crossings, paranoia and the existential angst that have become director Martin Mcdonagh’s trademark.

The Cambridge Film Festival is presented by the Cambridge Film Trust, a registered charity widening access to cinema and supporting emerging talent through film, education and community programmes.
