Cambridge to Ely — Lodes Way

A 16-mile fen cycling route from Cambridge to Ely Cathedral, following the ancient lode drainage channels across the Fens. Almost entirely flat and traffic-free, passing Wicken Fen, Upware and Prickwillow. The Cathedral appears in the distance an hour before you arrive — astonishing flat-land views.
