Cambridge Bumps Races

Unique Cambridge rowing races held on the River Cam twice a year (May Week in June, Michaelmas in October). Boats race in line, each trying to ‘bump’ the boat ahead. Watch for free from the towpaths along Midsummer Common and Cutter Ferry Path — the atmosphere is electric as spectators ring cowbells and cheer.
