Burwell Lode Walk

A 5-mile fen walk along a straight drainage lode east of Cambridge. The Lode connects Reach to the Cam — a medieval trading canal now flanked by reed beds, dragonflies, and fen flora.

Peaceful and almost completely flat; good birdwatching in all seasons.
