About
After our first very successful event last year, We are inviting Jack back for a new wonderful workshop. In this workshop you will be taught by the talented Jack Durling to create your very own ceramic animal sculpture (It can be any type of animals). Using a combination of hollow forming and modelling sculptural techniques such as coiling, slab building and the use of armatures, supports and templates. As well as running through some basic drawing exercises and maquette making. Your tutor Jack Durling will run through these methodically, step by step, for you to then use and inform your very own animal sculpture. Intermittently bringing the group round to demonstrate on his own piece. You will be aiming to produce a freestanding or sitting animal. It is encouraged you work towards creating a piece of 30cm x 30cm max.
