Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey

Breathtaking portraits – incredible personal stories. Following its success in 2025, Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey has returned to Bradford. All six original artworks from the hit BBC One series are on display at this free exhibition, open from Thursday to Sunday until 26 July.

Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey invites artists to create breathtaking portraits of people with incredible personal stories, creating a powerful picture of modern Britain. Bradford Culture Company (formerly Bradford 2025) present an exhibition of portraits from series five of the BBC One show, available now on BBC iPlayer – and admission is free. Presented in partnership with the BBC and Chatterbox Media, Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey will be the first event of 2026 at Loading Bay, our cultural hub in the heart of Bradford.
