Meet Tom Palmer

Come and chat with children’s history author, Tom Palmer in our drop-in WWII workshop. Tom will be joining us at the Keep with the some of scrapbooks, maps and real WWII artefacts that helped him to write his new Cornwall-based WWII novel, If the Invader Comes. Find out more about Cornwall and some of the lesser known incidents that occurred in the county between 1939 and 1945.

Tom Palmer is the author of 74 children’s books about sport and about history. His new book – If the Invader Comes – is set in Cornwall during the Second World War and is based on a series of real events that afflicted the county. www.tompalmer.co.uk/if While the museum remains closed for essential repairs, this event will take place in the Courtyard of the Keep.
