Join Cirko Norda’s open auditions for aspiring young performers aged 8+ who are ready to develop their skills, create ambitious work and train in a professional artist-development environment. 30 Aug 2026, 14:30 – 17:00 Studio Deco // Newcastle Circus Arts, John Marley Centre, Muscott Grove, Newcastle upon Tyne NE15 6TT, UK About the event Join us for the Cirko Norda Youth Circus Performance Ensemble open auditions, welcoming skilled and aspiring young performers aged 8+ who are ready to develop their craft, create bold work and explore pathways towards professional performance. The audition will take place as an active workshop rather than a traditional panel audition. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in a range of circus skills, movement exercises and creative performance activities.

The session will also include theatre and dance workshops led by experienced industry professionals, giving us the chance to see how each young person learns, collaborates, responds creatively and works as part of an ensemble. We are looking for young performers with commitment, creativity, performance potential and a genuine willingness to learn. Applicants may already have experience in circus, acrobatics, gymnastics, dance, theatre, acting, music or another performance discipline.
