For August, we are delighted to be pouring a sophisticated Burgundy Pinot Noir. Domaine de la Choupette This is a young estate, founded in 1992 and very much a family affair, with two brothers at the helm – Jean Christophe takes care of the 12 hectares of vines, certified HVE3 from 2022, whilst Phillipe handles vinification and maturation. Both whites and reds are classically made, with a focus on discreet wood and elegant fruit. Domaine de la Choupette Santenay Rouge Vieilles Vignes This “Grands Vins de Bourgogne” produced on their family estate is a fine representation of this illustrious appellation. This elegant red is vinified, aged in oak barrels and bottled on the property and is the signature of the winemakers and the heritage of their exceptional terroir.
