About
National Youth Music Theatre - in partnership with Birmingham Hippodrome - present a new musical with a contemporary pop score. Every morning, A opens their eyes somewhere new. A different bedroom.
A different body. A different name. It’s been this way for 5,994 days - waking up as someone else, learning their memories, living their life, letting go before midnight.
The rule is simple: observe, don’t interfere. Give the day back the way you found it. No attachments.
No exceptions. Then A wakes up as Justin and meets Rhiannon… In a single day at the beach, something shifts. A falls in love.
And for the first time, moving on feels impossible. What follows is one of the most unconventional love stories ever told. A pursues Rhiannon across days and bodies - arriving as a girl, a stranger, a boy from the wrong side of town - desperate to hold onto the one connection that has ever felt real.
Rhiannon begins to fall for someone she can never quite see. And in the gap between who A is and who A appears to be, both ask the same question: what is love, really, if it has nothing to hold onto? Adapted from David Levithan’s beloved novel, Every Day is a new musical with a contemporary pop score and an ensemble cast who share the role of A.
