Step inside one of the UK’s finest galleries and experience a life drawing session like no other. Hosted in the stunning surrounds of the Lady Lever Art Gallery, these sessions offer the perfect opportunity to explore life drawing.Whether you’re a seasoned sketcher or someone who's hasn’t picked up a pencil in years, these sessions provide the structure and inspiration to bring your drawings to life.Our life drawing sessions are rooted in a simple idea: art should be accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone.

Whether you’re pursuing a creative career or picking up a pencil for the first time in years, these events are designed to support and inspire artists of all skill levels.Set within the classical elegance of the Lady Lever Art Gallery, our sessions offer far more than a standard drawing class. You'll sketch in a building that houses some of the finest Pre-Raphaelite works in the world, surrounded by sculpture, beauty, and centuries of artistic legacy.With 90 minutes of focused drawing time, our sessions strike the ideal balance between immersion and approachability. You’ll be guided through a series of poses by professional life models, with a mix of short warm-up sketches and longer, more detailed studies.

Whether you want to explore anatomy, gesture, shading, or composition, this is your chance to practise with purpose, surrounded by fellow creatives in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment.The next dates are 16 May, 20 June, 18 July, 22 August, 19 September, 17 October, 21 November, 16 January, 20 FebruaryThese sessions are suitable for absolute beginners as well as more experienced artists. Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased in advance from our website.Basic art materials will be provided but if you would like to bring your own you are welcome to. Please note that there are no facilities for washing brushes or palettes.
